Team Event
Team events take place on April 18, with round-robin play, semis, and finals. Divisions from DUPR 3.0 and below to 3.6 and above.
Double Events
Doubles events take place on April 19, including Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Over 50 categories.

General Information
What is the Hong Kong Pickleball Championship?
It is a two-day pickleball tournament hosted by 212 and Aces, featuring a team event on
Saturday and men’s/mixed doubles on Sunday.
When and where is the event?
The tournament will happen across 18th and 19th of April
- Saturday, 18 April 2026, 8:30 am–6:00 pm – Team Championship.
- Sunday, 19 April 2026, 9:00 am–7:00 pm – Doubles Championship.
- Venue: 12F, 15F & 16F, S22, 22 Heung Yip Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong.

Events and Divisions
What events are played on Saturday?
Saturday is a team event with 3‑person teams (2 men and 1 woman), and each team match
consists of 3 games: MXD, MD, MXD.
What rating divisions are available for the Saturday team event?
There are three divisions available for the team event:
- Division 1: 3.6 and above (12 teams).
- Division 2: 3.0–3.599 (12 teams).
- Division 3: 3.0 and below (12 teams).
What events are played on Sunday?
Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, with Open, Over 50, 3.0–3.499 and 3.0‑and‑below
divisions.
What is the format for Sunday?
All divisions use a round robin format in pools of 4–5 teams, with top teams progressing to
semifinals, finals, and a 3rd place match.
DUPR Ratings and Eligibility
What DUPR ratings are allowed in the Saturday team divisions?
The DUPR requirements for each division are as below:
- Division 1: DUPR 3.6 and above. Minimum DUPR requirement of 3.4.
- Division 2: DUPR 3.0 to 3.599. Max combined DUPR of 10.797, no individual player above
3.7. NR rated players can only play Div 2 or Div 1. - Division 3: DUPR 3.0 and below. Max combined DUPR of 9, no individual player above 3.1.
What rating divisions are available for the Saturday team event?
There are three divisions available for the team event:
- Division 1: 3.6 and above (12 teams).
- Division 2: 3.0–3.599 (12 teams).
- Division 3: 3.0 and below (12 teams).
What DUPR ratings are allowed in the Sunday doubles divisions?
The DUPR requirements for each division are as below:
- Men’s Doubles Open (3.5+): DUPR 3.5 and above. Minimum DUPR requirement of 3.3.
- Men’s Doubles Over 50 (3.2+): DUPR 3.2 and above.
- Men’s Doubles (3.0–3.499): DUPR 3.0 to 3.499; max combined DUPR 6.98; max individual
DUPR of 3.6. - Mixed Doubles (3.0–3.499): DUPR 3.0 to 3.499; max combined DUPR 6.98; max individual
DUPR of 3.6. - Men’s Doubles (3.0 and below): DUPR 3.0 and below; max combined DUPR 5.99; max
individual 3.1. - Mixed Doubles (3.0 and below): DUPR 3.0 and below; max combined DUPR 5.99; max
individual 3.1.
Are there limits on combined team DUPR for doubles?
Yes, in 3.0–3.499 divisions the maximum combined DUPR is 6.98 and no player can exceed 3.6;
in 3.0‑and‑below divisions the maximum combined DUPR is 5.99 and no player can exceed 3.1.
Can a player “play down” in a lower DUPR division?
No. Players must enter a division that fits their current DUPR band; players above a division’s
maximum DUPR or combined limit are not eligible for that division.
What if I do not have an official DUPR rating?
Players without a DUPR rating may enter 3.0–3.49 or higher categories; all match scores will
be reported to DUPR to establish a rating, and organizers may adjust entries to protect
competitive balance.
Format and Matches
How many matches will I play?
You will play multiple round robin matches in your pool (at least 3 matches guaranteed if 8
teams or more), with additional matches if you qualify for semifinals and finals.
What is the match format?
Please find the match format below:
- Saturday: Each team match has 3 games (MXD, MD, MXD). Winner of 2 games wins the
match. - Sunday: Standard doubles matches in round robin pools; rally scoring will be used.
Entry Fees and Inclusions
What is the entry fee for Saturday (Team Championship)?
HKD 750 per player / HKD 2,250 per team of 3.
What is the entry fee for Sunday (Doubles Championship)?
HKD 750 per player / HKD 1,500 per doubles team.
What is included in my entry fee?
The following is included in your entry fee:
- Full‑day tournament play and court time.
- Lunch with 2 drinks on your competition day.
- Balls and tournament
organization.
Prizes and Awards
What prizes are on offer for the team event?
HKD 1,500 GigaSports cash vouchers × 9 for division winners and HKD 500 vouchers × 9 for
runners‑up, plus gifts.
What prizes are on offer for the doubles event?
HKD 1,500 GigaSports cash vouchers × 12 for winners of each event and HKD 500 vouchers × 12 for runners‑up, plus gifts.
Logistics and Registration
Is food provided?
Yes, all registered players receive lunch and 2 drinks on the day they compete.
Do I need to bring my own paddle and gear?
Yes, please bring your own paddle and personal gear; balls and courts are provided.
Where can I find my match times and court assignments?
The Hong Kong Pickleball Championship will use the Swish Tournament app to organize the
tournament. Please create an account on Swish and link your DUPR ID to your account.
How do I register and who do I contact?
Registration will be via Google form. Once your registration information and payment have
been received, your participation will be confirmed via whatsapp to your given phone number.
